I was born in Massachusetts and lived there long enough to develop a Boston accent. My family moved to Colorado when I was five and I promptly lost my accent which saddens me a bit to this day.

I live in Denver with my partner of 8.5 years. We have 0 kids and 0 pets but between his board games and my fabric I don’t know where we’d keep them anyways.

I have been sewing professionally for about 14 years now. I didn’t know how to do anything other than hand sew until I entered design school but once I learned to sew it became a regular part of my life.

I have a very special relationship with polka dots.

I love listening to podcasts while I work. My favorite ones tend to fall under the true crime genre, scary stories, or well written short fiction stories. If it’s information based rather than a story, I probably have it playing at 1.5 speed which confuses my boyfriend a lot.
